NASA are back for a 2016 Launch

Following a successful launch in 2015, NASA is back here at The Wanaka Airport.

NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) has confirmed Wanaka, New Zealand as one of it’s global sites to launch unmanned scientific research balloons into near space.

The NASA team have settled back into one of The Alpine Group’s Hangars, and come April – another successful launch will take place.
